Cajun Chicken Alfredo Pasta

What You Need

For the Chicken:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 ½ tablespoons Just Savor Cajun Kick Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

For the Alfredo Sauce:

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Just Savor Cajun Kick Seasoning

For the Pasta:

  • 12 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley (for garnish)
  • ½ cup medium tomato, small diced (optional, for freshness)

What To Do

  1. Cook the Pasta:
    • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
    • Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Cajun Chicken:
    • Season both sides of the chicken breasts with Just Savor Cajun Kick Seasoning.
    • Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
    • Add the chicken and cook for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp of 165°F).
    • Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  3. Make the Alfredo Sauce:
    • In the same skillet, melt butter over medium-low heat.
    • Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
    • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
    • Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and Just Savor Cajun Kick Seasoning. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  4. Combine Everything:
    • Add the cooked fettuccine to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
    • Slice the Cajun chicken and place it on top of the pasta.
    • Garnish with fresh parsley and cherry tomatoes (optional).
